Welcome to HRPA's New Volunteer Management System

Volunteers are integral to HRPA's success. Our goal with our new volunteer system is to capture all of HRPA's volunteer opportunities and establish a simple process for engaging volunteers.  

The ideal life cycle of a volunteer starts with small tasks and virtual participation to working all the way up to committee and leadership positions.

With the use of our new system we will be able to encourage volunteerism at all levels by using an intuitive system that makes it easy to define roles, post volunteer positions, track participation and reward engagement. 


HRPA's Volunteer Management Program describes the pathway to achieve excellence in the volunteer experience. This volunteer management system will be used to implement what we believe are the five elements to volunteer success:

  1. Planning
  2. Recruitment and Selection
  3. On boarding and Development
  4. Assessment, and
  5. Recognition

HRPA's volunteers are the back bone of the Association, with over a thousand volunteer opportunities across Ontario, conducting much needed work on behalf of the Association and the Profession.

Quite simply, we would not be able to achieve our mandate without our volunteers.

Being part of the HRPA Volunteer Pool means that you are interested in learning about future volunteer opportunities available through HRPA.

Check out the Volunteer Opportunities List and consider volunteering for the opportunities now forming! 

Completing your Volunteer Profile will help us know what kind of volunteer opportunities you are interested in. You can also opt out of receiving any future communications about opportunities from your volunteer profile. 

Opting-In is easy with one click, you are added to HRPA's Volunteer Pool of Volunteers.  When opportunities come up you'll be the first to learn about them.

Online Communities Coming Soon

Please bookmark this page so you can find it easily.  It will serve as a gateway to future online communities.  Communities are currently in beta testing with a small test group, volunteers will be notified when we roll out specific communities for their areas.

What are communities? These are private online communities where members can learn, share and collaborate within their community. Through these communities members will also be granted access to a private library where important documents and meeting materials will be stored.
